For the former workers’ village, the intention is to maintain all the character of the building: the very characteristic typological structure, and the decorative and architectural elements of heritage interest, creating 35 new apartments with real conditions of comfort, functionality and habitability.

In terms of organization, the interior circulation system has been preserved, with two staircases at the ends of the building through which the central corridor on the upper floors is accessed. However, the most important intervention is taking place “indoors”, with a complete reorganization of the existing housing types, in which the new loft apartments on floor 1 stand out.

This concept, in turn, adapts to the compositional structure of the pre-existing apartments, without physically delimited spaces, totally permeable, which enhances experiences.
