“As a developer, I was on the hunt for a special lot to construct a single family dwelling in the Cascais area of Portugal. We came across a fabulous lot that already had a residential home designed and approved. At first site of the mock up and initial preliminary design, I became quickly intrigued and closed the deal immediately.
Soon after, I met with the designer / architect, Pedro Carrilho and his experienced team. Sitting with him discussing certain design criteria and methods, I immediately felt that he had the creativity and talent while taking into consideration my vision and taste of a functional and unique residence that was to be constructed on this one of a kind lot parcel with its exquisite views. With a firm hand shake, we decided to move forward in this adventure together.
Ever since the first shovel in the ground, Pedro and his team, has been there with passion towards the construction process to discuss value engineering and assisting with sudden design changes and modifications that always seem to appear. His team works in harmony with the general contractor I also chose and also covers all aspects of quality control of the project with detailed precision and attention to all final design decisions.
As this adventure continues, and soon to be completed, I look forward to teaming up with Pedro and his team once again for future projects and consultations. It has been a fantastic working relationship to achieve an outstanding residential structure of which soon I shall call “home”.
