The state of complete ruin and abandonment in which the building found itself left us no choice but to assume that it was impossible to restore it. Consequently, it was proposed that the rest of the building should be completely demolished in order to promote its reconstruction, restoring the characteristics and architectural coherence of the building, designed as an urban whole and preserving the cultural and historical identity of the place.

Main facade

The intervention involved the reconstruction of the building, which was entirely residential, designing a new partitioning, adjusted to current living conditions and as functional as possible.

The design of the main elevation sought references to the characteristic elements of the original construction as well as the building typology of the place in order to promote full urban integration of the building, seeking references to its pre-existing compositional structure of 3 structuring and symmetrical spans.
